Quick answer

Work out the inside size a folding card box needs for your product, or pick one of our jewellery box styles to see its finished size and the footprint of its flat template. This tool collects dimensions and gives reference sizes only: it does not produce a production-ready dieline.

Extra space on each side so it slides in

Catalogue sizes only. Soft items, thick rings or gift padding may need a larger box: confirm before ordering.

How it works

  1. 1Choose a catalog style to see its sizes, or enter your product's size to get the inside dimensions to ask for.
  2. 2Add an allowance for easy fit: a few millimetres on each side is typical for a card box.
  3. 3Send the result to us on WhatsApp. We confirm the template, the stock and the price in your quote.

What to keep in mind

  • Template footprints are the bounding size of our flat template measured from our template files. They are references only: they carry no cut or fold lines, tolerances or flap geometry, and they are not a downloadable dieline. Five catalog sizes have no measured footprint yet.
  • A tuck-end bottom and a self-locking (crash-lock) bottom fold differently and need different templates. We never treat one as the other.
  • Panel area alone does not tell you whether a box fits: flaps, locks and board thickness change the real inside size, so we confirm the geometry before printing.

Common questions

A tuck-end box closes with flaps that tuck in at top and bottom, so the bottom is held shut only by friction. A self-locking (crash-lock) bottom has panels that fold and interlock, which makes a stronger base that stays shut without glue or tape. They use different flat templates.
